What exactly do we need to get :jbhmm:

Black women should be unemployed so black men should get a job :jbhmm:?
Ironically, you and the rest of the haters bypassed this.

Idk. I am solution-oriented but this is a complex problem.

My first step would be for black women to understand and not be a pawn for the media to bash black men. Take those cacs' money and support black businesses (especially black males) not Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin's (idk how to spell it). With that we can build our communities up and hire our own then it will carry on to professional jobs since we'll be growing a sustainable market.

It shows that cannot just up and start a business. You can start a hustle for under $1000 but a legitimate sustainable business. No!

More importantly for a business is a market. Next is a market with consumers with adequate disposable income.

You got your job. Cool! But don't act like there are mechanisms at work. Over 50% of black college grads are under or unemployed.

Never once I've advocated giving 30 years to anyone but 10 while building that side hustle into a business, yeah. Hard to do on p/t and minimum wage.

nikka you're completely full of shyt :mjlol:

I could post a list of businesses that were started for under a stack and youd still make excuses.

So lemme get this straight, your solution to combat black male unemployment is to raise black female unemployment :russ:

Well, that's for them. Starting a PROFITABLE business is key. I've started business but I don't want that low-end shyt plus I want to adequately invest in it.

Tell me about your businesses that you've started because it is so easy.

But Black men that actually believe that shyt are being completely naive. Black women are not holding Black men back. White men are the ones holding Black men back. There is a reason why Black men are always the bottom bytch in American society.

Brothas are going to have to come up on their own. No one is going to help us. We can and should help each other; and the White man is truly scared of that shyt, because the average brotha is really talented. But Hell; once an average nikka comes up; he ain't interested in hiring no Black lawyers; Black accountants; Black architects; Black contractors or Black anything. The average nikka takes his shyt right back to the White man and then the White man's firm grows and in turn the White man hires a Black woman and then some nikka on thecoli.com comes in complaining about how some Black woman got a job that was owed to him.

You want to fix the problem. Start talking to Black men about needing to hire each other. We can build up our own shyt and we don't need none of them; but brothas don't work with each other like that.

How many companies have you started and what was the startup cost?

I work with emerging small businesses on a daily. Starting a business is not as cheap and simple as people think it is, unless you're just selling lemonade on the corner or shining shoes. Good luck supporting yourself on those profit margins though.

You do realize that startup business capital costs much more than nikka trinkets, right?

Man, some of the rims on those cars cost a thousand dollars or more. And those ugly ass gym shoes costing a $150.00 to $200.00 a pop; and some nikkas got multiple pairs of them. That is a few thousand dollars right there.

A few thousand dollars could help a brotha open up a grocery store in an under served Black community. Think about it; in some of our neighborhoods there are no stores where our folks can buy just fresh fruits and vegetables. But a lot of brothas are like the native people that the White man came across; some nikkas just interested in bullshyt trinkets like gym shoes and rims, while the White runs everything else.

I have helped a few small business get started. It is not cheap, but most people start them cheaply in their homes. The intuit accounting and tax software company was started on a guy's dining room table. It can be done if brothas wanna do it. Hell some rappers started out by selling mix tapes out the trunk of their cars. R Kelly started out singing in the subways. Brothas need to stop making excuses and get busy; and we also need to start hiring one another. We suck badly in that area.

I'm not saying it's impossible...it's just not easy as some people make it sound. Especially if the person doesn't have that "it" in them to see it through despite the barriers.

Everybody isn't cut out for that. But yes, we do need to be more entrepreneurial and community-minded in our business dealings. Especially those who have the means to help someone get a job/etc.
