This to the highest degree. I didn't start this thread to bash black women but state the obvious. Someone quoted me but cac women aren't taking up their men positions. Not at a clip to make a dent.
It wasn't their fault, though...it was the perfect scam. Divide and conquer by forcing poor folks to give up hustling to be taken care of...and "the dole/the county" has always existed...My papa (g-pa) is from Callio. They could just hustle harder back in the day. Less restriction on the human body, despite more racism.

I know. It isn't their fault but they cannot say amongst themselves or on TV and say black men aren't shyt. There are documented forces where anonymous p*ssy as cacs say they see a black male as threatening.

Is this nikka really trying to advocate that our sistas should hold themselves back?:mjlol: And for your information no one is more cutthroat than a cac bytch, they'll step over a white man just as quickly as they would a brotha or sista.
No I am not. I am telling it how it is and how their necessity to provide for themselves is indirectly hindering black males in the professional world.

:yeshrug: fukk being PC.

It is the real. If black women would or were able to take the backseat then those opportunities would have to go to black men. No other women are or are trying to upstage their men on being providers. I am solely talking about the professional, white-collar world. Black women are two-birds with one stone. Black and woman but it squeezed the black male. I will add more in my commentary when you all chime in.

So what does this say about black men before i start to read thru this thread?

Or maybe just maybe Black men need to graduate school at higher rates (with STEM degrees), re-learn how to be builders of the community and maybe commit to our sisters by marrying them instead of being a bachelor until you're 45. Black women have to take those jobs what choice do they have, they are doing it for themselves or trying to raise children in a single parent home. There's more than enough jobs for Black men but we aren't getting in where we fit in.

Unfortunately we as Blacks do not have the privilege of being average and getting good jobs, We need to be great just to be average.

Science and medicine is getting crowded but Engineering and Mathematics in particular are underserved in general. I have a young cousin that wanted to be a calculus professor, his school (Rutgers) basically paid for his school and fast tracked him. Now granted he's a pretty smart cat but that's just one example.

Yeah, that's true and i concede. Just to live, a black male have to concede their career goals to do what a cac would pay a living wage for.

That simple huh? :mjlol:

Of course not. I mentioned in another thread, but in order for us to get back on track it's at best a 25 year plan, but there are problematic elements to our culture some caused by systematic racism and some from within, but this blaming of Black women for holding Black men back is a silly notion to have.

No they aren't. Professional black men still are getting opportunities and for the most part are doing better.

We are. I can speak to this with a couple of perspectives though.

#1. I'm a black male in the Chicagoland area that's getting it in. I'm about to move up to another job in a couple of weeks that if you were to tell a young Iceberg I'd be making that kind of money I'm about to be saying, I'd be like :comeon:. However, I'm forever on the grind and I'm putting in work. That said, a lot of us (black males) aren't doing that. nikkas still be wanting handouts. I can't plug you where I am if you don't have credentials and if you don't have those, I'm damn sure not going to put my name out there to vouch for yours.

Also, in teaching at a university for nearly 4 years, I see way more women in college than men. Right now, there is a 4:3 balance in women to men. That's actually the closest, by far, of a ratio that I've had. I ask them their goals and more often than not, women are appearing to strive to go higher.

I only have one friend that I'd put my name to. That is disheartening in itself. In every place I've been in the past half decade, I'm the only one with my skin and my sex. I'm putting that black man flag down everywhere I go.
