Not true and this is a prime example of some blk men being dismissive of blk women's experiences. It has always been reserved for girls too. Being a "goody girl" or a nerd carries negative implications for a blk female as being boring or undesirable in our community in grade school and these negative implications increase for blk women when they pursue a secondary education. "Dem educated bytches stuck up!" "Can't cook!" "Won't give blk men a chance." "Go ahead and get a degree with ur lonely azz." "Dem bytches boring." "Dey only want white men."No one ever really threw shade and black women getting an education, it was primarily directed towards boys, by both men and women. No one called girls "Steve Urkel" as a pejorative. No one equated intelligence with not having sex to women, that was all reserved for the boys. This is been probably the root cause of a lot of strife in my generation, that basically said "it's cool to be dumb as fukk".
That's if we aren't completely ignored or overlooked in the pursuit of ur nearest Instagram thot.
In fact post a PAWG thread and a blk educated chick thread. Tell me what gets more hits. The denial is laughable.
What is it that makes you completely ignorant to a blk woman's experience? I never deny blk men's experiences but some of ya'll stay pretend like this shyt doesn't happen to us. I really need to figure out why.
