Personally thought Knicks-Pacers and Knicks-Heat were better rivalries
the bulls had a few rivalries in the 90's. knicks was the #1, which is why I NEVER liked that team, followed by the pacers and then maybe the heat. in the 2000's/2010's their main nemesis has been the cavs and heat.

To me it's not a real rivalry if one team always dominates when it matters most.
The Knicks were 0-5 against Jordan in the playoffs

The incompetent Knicks failing to pair up Ewing with another star is what caused them to not win at least one championship.
That 2 year stretch in where Starks was playing at an all-star level is the closest the knicks ever got to winning. They should have beaten the Bulls in 93 and almost won it all in 94 BECAUSE of Starks.
That 1993 Knicks team would have beaten the Suns in the finals. Nobody on that team would have stopped Ewing. Oakley and Mason EACH would have fought with Chuck at least twice in the finals.
