I don't know if they can do it. What story or series from the comics will they use?

They're going to have to do a lot of work building up the New Avengers. Endgame really laid bare just how much this universe has relied on the original six. Every emotional beat that worked was related to one of them, and overall, only really Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther have introduced characters that could truly take their place.

I think they gotta a chance depending on the actors they cast and how they use them

It might be hard to find someone as charasmatic as RDJ but as far as characters go, now they got the ones who they didnt have before when people were worried back in 06 if they could be successful

X-Men, FF, Doom, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Spiderman plus Black Panther, Strange, Captan Marvel, the A Force. Im not sure whats up with the Defenders and if they reboot them

If Sony is willing to play ball they should be ok

My only concern is will casual audiences be into the idea of seeing the Mutant Universe again this time rebooted once again

Will it live up to it? It'll probably be better and obviously more inclusive.

Objectively, it took 10 years and 20 movies to setup Infinity War and End Game. That's a lot of time spent putting granular pieces into place and readjusting as they go. Learning from mistakes.

Also, sure everyone loves the big 3 now... but let's not forget that RDJ's Tony Stark was the only one the general public rocked with out the gate. Thor 1 was one of the worst reviewed movies and nobody even bothered watching First Avenger, it made the least amount of money of any MCU film. Back then Cap was corny and Thor was a lame.

However, look at the amount of work (and rework) they put in to change the perception of both Cap and Thor. Hell, it took them 3 movies and a youtube skit about Thor getting a roommate before they let Hemsworth be who he is and not who he's supposed to be.

Black Panther, Captain Marvel, even Dr. Strange are already in better shape out the gate than the original big 3 were back in 2008. And we've only seen the early build of those characters, not the final form like we've had with Tony, Steve, and Thor, after 9 solo movies and 2 avenger films to flesh them out and iron out the kinks.

AvX Crossover sounds about right to me. Introduce the X-men to those who’ve only been paying attention to these Avengers, thru these Avengers.

I’m more curious how many more movies these current actors have left in these roles. Do they plan to keep RDJ and Hemsworth into the next phase which itself will be another grip of movies or do they start with blank slates and recast? I mean I guess Disney has the money to keep paying these ppl but do they all want to keep playing their roles?

Edit: answered my own question regarding the actors...I reckon they just say we onto the next phase of movies and we’d like you all to sign long term contracts to reprise your roles in as many movies as we need and anyone who wants out can then be recast or character straight up eliminated.
