Nope, his lack of talent, and humongous ego prevent that from ever happening. Look at how he's handling his production company --building a roster of in-house writers and directors whose only jobs are to make him look good and get his projects up and running with quick turn around.

Arnie and Stallone worked with the best creatives in the business, and were team players. Can you imagine someone like Tarantino or Cameron chewing out the Rock for fukking up a take? He cant :mjpls:

Not everyone has to be Daniel Day Lewis.

in what world has The Rock not already passed Arnold and Stallones peak level of popularity :patrice:

For every Rocky or Terminator they have as many flops to mirror their success :patrice:

The Rock has been the biggest star on the planet for almost half a decade in a row and a house hold name at least 10-15 years.. :patrice:
HOw old are you 18? lol

Rock is nowhere close to Arnold or Stallone level.
Hell he might be JCVD level but not really, The Rock has no classics.
No Bloodsport, No Kickboxer,
Hell he doesn't even have a Double Impact on the resume or a Universal Soldier.

The Rock is already past all 3 of them levels of popularity :dahell: this isnt even a debate :dahell:

Kickboxer wasnt even top 50 in Box Office sales in 1989 why would The Rock want that on his resume :dahell:

sometimes I wonder how some posters are functioning adults :dahell:

1989 Yearly Box Office Results - Box Office Mojo

I'm 35.
The Rock is nowhere on Stallone, Willis, and Arnie level.
Nowhere close.
He could have been but he went the disney film route.
Hell Vin Diesel has a better resume.
Matter of fact of the 2nd gent "action" guys, Cruise and Reeves outshine The Rock.

Rock is huge. No doubt. Mainstream as they come. :whoo:

Arnold was HUGE back then. It's different era too tho.. Rock is coo, he just doesn't make hard core classics like Arnold, Stallone, Willis and others. And that's fine, he has his lane and maybe he will be a late bloomer but who knows. :yeshrug:

We all knoe he's never made a movie like T2, basically the most popular action film ever. Top 5 no doubt. :whew:

He doesn't have a First Blood or Die Hard or Leathal Weapon etc etc. :sas1:

But that's not the Rock, he plays it safe. Stays popular.

He’s got enough money and popularity.
His whole brand of social media is about challenging yourself, so let’s see if from him when it involves his career and not some physical feat
dude's taken risks every stage of his career :dead: there's no rush for a oscar and its not like they're worth anything either

That’s not what I meant.
I’m thinking more like a risky hardcore action/horror type movie in the terminator or Rambo mold. Neither of us those movies was supposed to take off like they did.

He's not been offered up any R-Movies because most of his R films didn't do like his PG13 film numbers....

Btw...He was in DOOM which was R as well.
