Is Trae even a #2 on a contender?
I think there's a world where he could be but it really depends on how he plays and/or shoots. The myth about him is that he's a good shooter when in reality, he's below average. If he shot 38% or better from three, it'd make a major difference.
Since he isn't that great of a shooter, if he focused on penetrating, setting guys up and mainly shooting floaters/runners, he would be a lot more effective. He's a brilliant passer but it gets lost in the discussion because he's a ballhog and relentless chucker.
