Thing about D Wade & Bron, they're better situational/clutch players than Giannis.Especially when it comes to playoff basketball. In the last 2 mins of a game, they're capable of hitting timely shots from anywhere on the court to close your team out. With the game on the line, Giannis is driving recklessly into the lane, and bricking FT's.He's not a closer. His game is like a black hole detached from the team collective. He's a freak athletic talent, but his game is self centered as fukk.He overpowers the defense enough with monotonous dives to the basket, it allows the Bucks to stay in striking range most games. At that point, Middleton's normally the guy who will close teams out.If Middleton's not in his bag, Giannis can score 50, and still lose.

You’re not wrong, but you basically just described prime Shaq lol

Shaq doesn’t win any championships or Finals MVPs if Kobe (or Horry, or Fisher) don’t close the show in the close games along the way. And that’s fine.

Because for as situational and clutch as Wade and LeBron are/were.. they still needed a top 5-10 level talent to win, otherwise they’d get their big scoring games and fancy triple doubles stats... and still lose, just like Giannis is.

That’s why the shade thrown at Giannis’ by the media is lame. Basically Kris/Jrue aren’t as interesting to pick on as PG13 was, so the media finds it juicer to pretend like Giannis is the problem :pachaha:

Imma put it in perspective:

Shaq during the 1999-2000 season when he averaged 30 a game, he shot 76% at the rim. Layups/hooks/etc = 76% . 3-10 ft, he shot 45%

Giannis at the rim? 82.5%, and 41% at 3-10 ft.

It's why I always roll my eyes when dude shoots a jumper when he's this good once he reaches the block
The difference between the two is Giannis plays around on the perimeter as well and handles the ball. When he in the post, Giannis is a guaranteed bucket, but he likes having the ball on the perimeter as well.

Shaq had a better feel for the game.Ions beyond Giannis when it comes to facilitating.Especially from out of the post. His back to the basket game was far more advanced...But it was different back then.Giannis is all face up, spin move, and elbows. The refs could call him for countless offensive fouls, but he's good for the narrative.I think a lot of his peers see it for what it is.

Shaq was worlds better than Giannis IMO, but Shaq also had Phil Jackson, and Shaq did have better teammates as well.
