What happens to the Cs, next season?
I don't think it'll be any one thing.

It's having the mental and physical hunger to 3-peat; the natural improvement of teams; the likelihood of stars shifting to make teams stronger; teams further gameplaninng for them; teams circling them on the calendar during the regular season; young stars getting better etc.

A combination of all those sorts of things running against them.

They've got the fuel of Tatum and Jaylen and all the turmoil they went through during the offseason with Team USA, using that to power their B2B campaign. It's unknown what kind of fuel they'll have for next season. They also likely won't have Horford, and he's been integral to giving them that balance in the frontcourt (he's been near-damn irreplaceable for them).

We shall see what happens this season first.

Anything is possible!!!!11

As a soccer fan I fukk with the nba cup and would’ve loved to see the Knicks win it…..it’ll be dope when some team wins the cup and NBA championship in the same season

Word. One thing that I hope happens in the future is some team wins the NBA cup, has best record in the league and wins the NBA title and somebody big in the media picks up on it and calls it the NBA treble. And the treble becomes something that matters historically and teams chase it.

Holiday or Porzingis will need to be traded, Hauser probably too and sone of the role players Kornet/Tillman/Springer will be gone. If not the Tax bill with salaries will be $500+ million. They’re projected to be $45 million over the 2nd apron so $45 million need to come off the books somehow.

Until Chet gets back, OKC gonna struggle to generate offense against taller teams

Defensively it’s clear they’d want both him and ihart on the floor to match up with Giannis and Lopez.

But with just one big available with nothing but 6’6 guys, it was the Dallas series for them all over again.

With Milwaukee, it’ll still be their 4th quarter execution as the question mark. I mentioned a week or so back that they played Boston tough all 3 games but got outmaneuvered in the 4th every time.
