Tell all the jokes you want

And get smacked up as much as you want

It’s not hard— some of y’all folks just don’t like consequences and accountability
The world ain’t the block tho.

It’s times and places to handle certain things

Some of y’all can’t see past that

Believe whatever YOU want but the REALITY is that Will damaged his money/career acting stupid and now has to go on a apology tour to be marketable again which is/was his JOB!!!

If what's left of his reputation is gone, then Will should go to Japan. I remember checking the comments in this Japanese video (the same clip, but with Japanese subtitles) and most of the people there were defending him.

Thread went like I thought it would
Not excusing Will but I know the feeling of doing something in the moment and never forgiving yourself
I’ve done things that haunt the fukk out of me and it still plays out on how I do things in my present life
Shame/guilt never goes away
Even with help
I still feel like a demon and unworthy of redemption
A lot of men, specifically black men feel they never have that chance at redemption and suffer in silence
Which leads to more reckless behavior or in my case
Retreating into myself and just giving enough so I don’t hurt anybody
Always trying to do the right thing to escape the fukk up demon that’s on my shoulder of the past
This forum is really not built for men or topics that plague us as a whole
And you nikkas stay lying about being problack
Especially with the comments in this thread
You nikkas are just like dusty bytches in a sense
You never look at the whole picture
Never relate to the stories, journeys and trauma on why we do stupid shyt
We’ve all been a product of an environment where they condition black men to take so much shyt until we explode then we spend years trying to pick up the pieces of said destruction
Two lives were affected
Chris is looked at as a (coward) unrightfully to some
Will is looked at as an angry “thug”
Ironically the same posters that use this label on both of these men
Be the most rah-rah, REAL nikkaS in other threads talking about what would’ve happen
Blah, Blah,Blah
We get it you are The Terminator
To folks who actually not playing a character on here
This whole situation is a case study on how not only the ways our childhood dynamics affect our adulthood and how we respond to each other as men
But it also shows no matter what you do as a black man
You try to be the greatest muthafukka alive with no eras/or blemishes
When shyt goes sideways
That one action makes you a villain for life
While other races of men always get the benefit of doubt/redemption

What Will did is pretty much a no going back to homies situation
That’s something he has to deal with for the rest of his life
As Chris has to deal with that humiliation/some questioning his manhood
It’s just a fukked situation all around
But I hope both find a way to heal their souls
And find a way down the line to be cordial
All jokes aside, you are absolutely right.

I hope some of you brehs never go to a comedy club. You all sound like you'd start swinging the moment a comic picks you out of the crowd and says something about your appearance or mannerisms despite the fact that, you know, that's a standup comedian's job. I'm sure Chris might've rethought the joke if he knew about Jada's condition, but it sounds like he didn't. I have no respect for Jada whatsoever. She's a pompous and manipulative woman and the fact that Will still stands by her after she put him on blast a few years ago is very telling. As for Will? He didn't look very sorry when he was out partying after the ceremony was over and I feel like this is damage control to put pressure on Chris.
These dudes don't be going nowhere so you know how they gon feel about it. How the fukk can anyone justify a man going up on stage and not being able to hold your emotions and lash out like a fukking child. It was a joke. Will himself was laughing about the shyt until Jada gave him a look. Will Smith is one of my favorite actors and Fresh Prince is my GOAT tv show, I could watch it any time it's on, no matter the episode but that was some hoe ass shyt he did to Chris Rock. He even said Tony Rock was his man in the apology video, I remember he put him on a show he was doing at the time called All of Us, so bro clearly wasn't thinking in the moment. That being said, good on him for apologizing and putting that shyt to bed.

Facts. :manny:

Men accustomed to running their mouths with no repercussions are the only ones defending Chris Rocks fakkit ass.

Look up Chris Rock with Louis CK, Ricky Gervais and Seinfeld. This yall king? :mjlol:

Breh,he allowed a man to smack him on t.v with no reprocussions:gucci:

Obviously he is timid when it comes to confronting people:mjlol:? In context he makes race jokes too. Thats why I just wouldnt be friends with cacs who think they are funny. And obviously think im safe to make racist jokes around. They had no regard or understanding for how it makes Chris look. What needs to happen is these cacs need to apologize for embarrassing Chris publically like Will has to. Tony Rock aint threaten them either.

But just stop and think,Will Smith is so highly thought of. Imagine if he had just walked back to his seat and said nothing. A room full of people wouldve just fake laughed it off. And Chris being who he is,probably wouldnt have said shyt and played it off too. Wouldve been the perfect crime:wow:

That should be a lesson to people who like to go around talking tough and making threats. A guy like Will can shoot an innocent man in cold blood and people would just assume the dead guy did something. Somebody find out where Will was on Sept 13,1996:mjcry:

as a Philly nikka, I need that westbrook hat :whew:

moreover, will is not a great actor, so I feel that the apology was genuine - - he knows that he genuinely got in his feelings and acted out of character. The prob is, he doesn't gaf about slapping Chris (he's masochistic af and loves the emotionally abuse from Jada) he gafs about that cac bag and creating more Oscar bait movies for him to regurgitate motivational quotes in.

When the camera is off, this nikka don't give any thought about Chris or Tony.

Chris is right to disregard him. The dumbest thing for Chris to do is to accept Will's apology on a public forum. The moment Chris forgives, the public will and Will will (:youngsabo:) get back to the status quo.

I like Will and and Chris as people, but Chris should be silent, let him squirm and be disappointed at the fact that he can't manipulate him

And that’s the funny thing about ppl like Will Smith. I’m not saying Jada isn’t a psycho, but Will isn’t some battered husband. Lmao

He’s just as manipulative as she is. You do NOT work your way to being the leading brotha in Hollywood without having mental fortitude, high EQ and IQ. He’s playing with people the same way she does, just in a different way.

I suspect other men see right through it. He has too much clout and power in Hollywood for them to outright disrespect him, but the reaction to this whole thing has been telling.

Yep it's strange that with all the information at hand people still have wildly naïve notions about successful people

For a lot of people, there will come a time in life where you find out what fake love is.
Especially if you're a public figure.
There's a saying in radio.
"The person who loves you will listen for an hour. The person who hates you will listen to the entire show."
