I was thinking, after a few years removed from George Bush Jr. will history look upon him a little more favorably as it did his father. I mean for some of you guys who are younger, Bush (and Reagan by that extension) lorded over dark times, especially for us Blacks, but if we were to look at this recent period with more objective eyes, would the image of Bush Jr change from a malicious, idiotic son of Oil, or will it be a well-meaning guy who was manipulated by corporations and outside interest, or will it be a guy who just didn't do much. Especially since he has essentially disappeared from the public eye when Obama got elected. Let me know Higher Learning compadres, what you think? I want to hear from liberals, conservatives, independents, anarchists, fascists, from all.

It wasn't 3 million net until bank crash of 2008 came along and wiped out a ton of the gains. Up until that point job creation was fine and bush held the record for consecutive months of job creation.

The bank failure was decades in the making and unles Peter schiff was president and changed fed policy in 2006 no president was going to stop the 2008 bank crash. Technically bush tried to check Fannie and Freddie but congress didn't approve the bill and Bush didn't pursue it further.

That being said, no one in the history of mankind has done more for the fight against AIDS in Africa. By all international standards, his initiative there helped save over a million lives, with some estimates saying that the program will save over 20 million lives over it's course.
