Will Hip Hop ever see anyone do it as big as Percy Miller?

East Side!
On the bolded, P had a lot of peope :ooh: and  cause he went against the grain and had his own label. Back in the 90s, a lot of the east coast cats were rather lazy (outside of a few) cause the labels pampered them while they occasionally toured, record, and promote themselves. The reason why a lot of east coast are mad now cause they cannot adjust to the record breaking pace of recording songs, videos, and dropping albums and mixtapes regularly.

what east coast nikkas are mad? what census did you make this assumption from?

they sound the same to me, someone post up a song with drag on doing that fast flow sheeeet

drag-on was seen as somewhat of a late '90s camron clone.

edit: i didnt even notice this was uncle grime. thats my dude. he be crackin me up. lol.

Every one did my brother.

Kane and Abel album was dope. You could bump that from start to finish:obama:

But them boy was bout it for real. I think they got caught wit like 30 bricks in the trunk. Im sure they made way more off dope then NL:smugfavre:

the best thing about kane & abel is that they made good use of their time on no limit. you can tell that they got alot of game from master p, cuz they went on to have their own label, movies & books. i think their 1st novel dropped while they were on no limit. i remember it being advertised in the album booklets. they were even selling this stuff while they were incarcerrated.

i remember they were on an episode of college hill(the first and best season) and they were showing them shoot the movie cuz the fat nicca from the 1st season had a role in it.

and i believe that they were basically allowed to snitch without being labeled as such, cuz the bul that fronted them their work had already went to trial and lost so it was already a wrap for him. thats how they only did 3 years without being labeled snitches. these dudes just couldnt lose.

:comeon:

im east coast born & bred.

lets not play dumb and act like the east coast wasnt the home of hate in the '90s.

yep. east coast was mad late on the no limit takeover.

whats crazy is that before that show, there used to be people on tv randomly rockin "tru 2 da game" shirts. most notably, the jamie foxx show. thats when i really started to take notice to what was going on with them outside of randomly jammin to their joints on rap city.

In their 90s renaissance, East coast was the place to be with new acts. They also beefed a lot of people that they considered less talented or inferior. Master P was one of them cause a "slow southerner" was making money beyond their wildest dreams.

the real hiphop.
Master p was on the radio and they asked him if he was bankrupt and he said "it's a business move to protect assets." He said Donald trump does it all the time and he has billions. Dude basically said you bankrupt one company and change the name, start fresh, and don't have to pay off people that were owed money.

Wait what? :what:
Am I the only one that question this? This don't make no sense

Someone with expertise clear this up, please

Lil Romeo is a multi millionaire. Master P was really about putting his people on. P ain't broke. He got like 3 houses in LA alone. And I'm sure many others across the country. Do you know P was the first dude up on LIONS GATE. His film deal was ridiculous, those little hood DVDs sold like crazy. p never spent his own money on that. He made a killing with Lionsgate. 50 basically doing what Master P did with Lionsgate, but taking it to a much higher level.

What a lot of people don't know is 50 is making a killing off the movie game. Lots of times it's not even movies he stars in. 50 got 200 million dollars fronted to him on the movie side and partnered with EMMETT/FURLA who also raised 250 million from investors for production. What they doing is fronting the production budgets for a lot of big pictures. For example 50 fronted money on the 2 GUNS movie with Wahlberg and Denzel. Then they pre-sale the film before it ever goes into production to foreign territories and recover 75 percent of their investment before the movie is even shot. Universal is just distributing the movie but CURTIS JACKSON (exec producer) and EMMETT/FURLA films pays for it. And they get a good chunk of profit from the box office. They just pic projects with A-LIST talent already attached to lower their risk on investments and to be able to pre-sale to foreign buyers ( who want stars to sell the picture to their countries) CURTIS JACKSON and EMMETT/FURLA also help fund that new BROKEN CITY with WAHLBERG & RUSSEL CROWE

50 on same gangsta shyt in the movie game. I respect him.

Where did you find your information. Put me on...Im tryna soak up all this game about the movie business.
