we negging you for life for this
No Limit CEO Master P was waived by the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, Oct. 27, one game short of a full preseason. P, a.k.a. Percy Miller, was a hit with fans despite averaging 2.2 points and 4 minutes in six exhibition games with Toronto. In his best game, a 110-84 rout of the Vancouver Grizzlies in Edmonton, Miller scored eight points in eight minutes, making both of his 3-point attempts and inspiring fans to chant his name
Had he made the roster I think a case could made for him being without question the GOAT Hip Hop Renaissance Man....rapper, label CEO, actor, director, pro wrestler in a top tier promotion with his own stable, NBA bench warmer ...he was coming for Art Barr's neck
so all the sales numbers were fake?@ any of u bama nikkaz thinking he was really worth 600milly or sold over a 100mill records
He had a solid gold toilet.
A solid gold toilet.
Solid gold toilet.
Think about that for a minute.
who respects birdman more than master p aside from a bunch of noobs and casuals? lets be reality, no limit had the most impressive run out of all these rap crew labels. not to mention that no limit changed the landscape of hip-hop.
and are we gonna act like master p was selling less than most of these dudes youre naming. master p and others on no limit were top sellers. and even the midcard & bottom-feeder artists were going gold. lets not throw backhanded compliments out there man. lets keep it 100. he sold more than most of these dudes and he did it with alot less promotion and made more money even when his chit wasnt selling anymore.
lets be really real. the real reason why master p's legacy is tarnished in the eyes of some is because they threw shade on him for owning his own chit and put up blockbuster numbers without blockbuster promotion. the industry hated that chit, white folks hated that chit and the east coast hated the fact that one of our own didnt have the distinction of being the one to do what master p did. and he still came out here and rocked our major venues.
and most of the people that still maintain that no limit and other southern artists from the south's golden era were wack, are currently listening to the INFERIOR southern music of today, simply because theyve been brain-trained to think that this chit is hot because its all thats on the radio.
And what that mean
On the bolded, P had a lot of peope and cause he went against the grain and had his own label. Back in the 90s, a lot of the east coast cats were rather lazy (outside of a few) cause the labels pampered them while they occasionally toured, record, and promote themselves. The reason why a lot of east coast are mad now cause they cannot adjust to the record breaking pace of recording songs, videos, and dropping albums and mixtapes regularly.

A lot of people had labels but p actually owned his and owned his masters and all that. Only him and death row and j prince was on that level.
And all 3 of them got took down I wonder why.
