If Vezzo, Babyface Ray, Dugg, Peezy, or Grizzley got as big as Kendrick did, you'd see the same thing.

Here is the detroit version of the pop out, Team Eastside vs. DBCO, last year:

seems pretty rallied...

I like Vezzo but he is mid. I like Grizzley a lot but he had his time and seem more focused on streaming

I've never listened to Ray, dugg, or peezy

That would mean they would have to talk about something more relatable and universal than scamming, killin and fukking hoes.

Something all 3 of those rappers have done.

Also working with excellent producers and making coherent albums and music videos. Not just random algorithm shyt.

Detroit
All those artist had somebody who developed them. I'm not sure if these younger artists are willing to do that. Or if modern labels have a "Dr. Dre" to take them to the next level like K. Dot.

And Royce discussed this. These Detroit rappers ain't thinking about making mainstream hits. I mean if Sada Baby was developed (and didn't have his pops die or Sada's drug addiction battles) who knows.
