Where's my extensive breakdown of why Tony Parker had 24 and 11 and Monk dropped 20 in what looks like a decisive win. I was on a company trip bum fukk nowheresville Georgia and missed the gane.@42 Monks @Tobias @Henry Orbit @Morose Polymath :beli:
Should've been updating stuff but I've been laughing on RealGM too much

Jeremy Lamb is wild disappointing and playing like he don't know its a contract year. Don't let the steals fool you, he can't even front post defenders and because of that the switch heavy defense goes to shyt since he always needs help. Offensively, he's turned into old Stephen Jackson. Yal know how that looked :scust: and I'll leave it at that.

Tony Parker was a great signing. Even when he's putting up no numbers, he's the spark plug - and low key the best at collapsing defenses because he's ALWAYS in the paint. He seems to have chemistry with everyone too. Damned good addition. He had Tyler Johnson ready to cry last night. Defensively... he's no worse than Monk and Lamb anyways so its whatever. Guys can cry about it, but he's a great net positive to the team and the reason why our bench is an asset for the first time in a fukking decade. He also lets us play extreme small ball too. You'd think a Parker/Kemba/Monk or Lamb/Batum/MKG lineup would never make sense but what do I know. shyt works don't question it.

Monk finally got his confidence back and its just obvious dude is a streaky shooter. Nothing wrong with that, but because he's a pretty boy when it comes to going to the rim he doesn't get fouled that often. Shooters need to get to the line to break slumps and he hasn't learned that yet. He's a better playmaker than people give him credit for and he's a guy you always give a chance to in late game scenarios. He's clutch so you deal with the mistakes. Its basically his rookie year and he's got a real role for once.

Graham is fukking legit. End of discussion :hubie:

Marvin Williams is officially headed to Larry Holmes Gardens. He does what he can, but he's basically super Anthony Tolliver at this point. Sad to see.

Zeller put on muscle this offseason. Which would be great if this was 2006. He doesn't get bullied inside anymore, but he's WAY slower off his feet and can't guard the perimeter like he used to.

WHG can't run at the rim for shyt. He's discount Al Jeff but thankfully Borrego has already realized that he's a pick and pop center and not a PnR

Biz can hoop still. And Borrege ain't like Cliff about it. Cliff would pull him because he fouls too much. Borrego will put Biz in and say "don't come back until you foul out :demonic: if they die, they die"

MKG is back :blessed:

Batum is inconsisent as fukk with higher highs than last season.

Miles Bridges is good and taking Marvin Williams spot permanently any day now. I still can't believe he's any good. I won't.

Kemba is low key a better defender than he is a scorer but no one cares about defense these days :manny:

Borrego is at the very least better than Cliff and its wild how he's installed the SA switch heavy defense in such a short time... I'm not saying he's a great coach or anything but he's definitely showing that he's better than most.

Noticed a lot of this during the 76ers game. MKG was looking like the best rebounder on the team and the defesne is back and he seems more confident going to the hoop.

Zeller did a cycle which is why he's so big with a non existent hairline. It is what it is.

Kemba was shooting us in and out of the game so I didn't see much offensively from the others.

Kemba is great :hubie: but asking Kemba to shoot 30 times a night is insane

I'm glad that it only took Borrego a week to realize that in late games kemba vs everyone isn't gonna work. Cliff used that crutch for three fukking years... I'm still mad at him for taking MKG out of the fourth quarter when all that dude does is make plays analytics be damned

Pretty sure the narrative was that Westbrook should leave OKC not too long ago :jbhmm:

That was never the narrative. The narrative was that Westbrook was coming home to LA even when they were winning and had KD. He never gave any indicators to that. That was just the media putting it out there.

Kemba on the other hand isn’t winning. He should be playing on a contender. Dude is fukking second in scoring playing for a team that ain’t going no where. Kemba on the lakers or pairing with KD in NYC would be ideal. Dude doesn’t get the respect he deserves. Kemba is just as good as any top PG in the NBA

stop it :mjlol:the media cycle spent a whole year talking about how OKC needed to cash out and trade westbrook before he left them with nothing

then when he resigned they spent half the next year saying he made a mistake by staying

and people really gotta remember that kemba didn't even deserve the contract we gave him in the first place. it was a clear over pay at the time - and he went on to make some of the most substantial improvements out of anyone in the league since then. that's where the loyalty comes from

And you just proved my point...The media said that, not Westbrook. Westbrook was WINNING in OKC and making deep playoff pushes at the time. The difference is Kemba has been at home in May. He has 0 reasons to stay.

yes he did derserve that contract...dude had a 17 and 6 season on 42%. He did it once so he could do it again. The percentages weren't where you want them the next two years but the skill set was still there....All the Analytic #'s show he was making strides even after that step back(no pun) in 2012-2013. Maybe he wasn't worth the 80m JW got at that time but Kemba was def worth 48m.
