I think Joey Harrington in his career as a starter at Oregon only lost 3 games but had 9 fourth-quarter comebacks. Meaning that if you were beating the Ducks in the 4th there was a 75% chance you were still going to lose the game.

What is considered a comeback, like how many touchdowns, like if score is 21 - 20 or 21 - 17 going into the 4th this is not really an impressive stat,just a more fortunate one

you can take away all of Gretzkys goals and he’d still have the most points of all time

I don't follow hockey so I never understood how it was possible for Gretzky to get all those goals, and I don't know why any team would let him go to another team, but he played for like 4 or 5 teams.

At least with Wilt there was context explaining why he was able to accomplish what he did and it kinda normalizes it. Wayne is just an animal

The Oilers owner was losing money so he sold his best asset when it was at his peak stock value. LA traded him when he was older and about to enter free agency. They thought he was going to sign with his hometown Maple Leafs so they sent him to St.Louis as a rental. He never came to an agreement with the Maple Leafs so instead went to the NY Rangers who gave him the best offer. So you know the Oilers won another Stanley Cup 2 years after trading Gretzky.

Assists in hockey is a bit of a flawed stat. Two players can get an assist on one goal and you can even get an assist if a player scores off of a rebound from your shot.

But all players have access to this "flawed" stat. Since there is still nobody even remotely close to Gretzky how is this relevant?
