I think the women are mad because either they, or someone they know has cooked for a man, and he still cheated, or left, or never married her after years of delicious home cooked meals. There’s a lot of videos out there of women of various races complaining they have to work full time to pay half the bills, AND come home to clean, and cook by themselves, and take care of the kids while the man does nothing. I’m also seeing videos of women at restaurants having to eat their food while helping their kids eat, but the husband is enjoying his meal without helping. So those are the kind of men getting backlash, not ones who help with domestics and child-rearing.
And I have to point out the hypocrisy of y’all not wanting to buy a woman a nice meal on a first date, but expecting her to cook for you.
I say this as a married man whose wife cooked for me for our second date. Guess what I bought her for our first date?
A dinner at a nice restaurant and some flowers!
Y’all just don’t date women who really like you, and are excited about you. This is why you have to stop begging women to give you a chance. They have to really want you. Otherwise, she’s going to have an attitude over every single time she doesn’t get her way, and will treat you like you should be grateful to be in her presence, regardless of what she brings, or doesn’t bring into your life.
