If you haven't seen the greatness in it by season 4 then most likely you never will. That's not a shot at you that's just to say that you don't agree with everyone else.

I will say though that deducting points from the show because of characters that are unlikeable by design is kinda like not liking the Chicago bulls because you don't like red.. None of us can really say you're wrong about not liking what you don't like...

Yeah. Stephen King....the dude that sold 350 million books....was writing articles on "The Wire" being the GOAT in Entertainment Weekly years before the show blew up.

But those are the likeable ones. Unlikeable is about personality not character(integrity). Most shows don't make the characters you should be rooting for annoying. It's definitely not enough to overshadow how good the show was though. I think BB becomes more appreciated when you step back and understand what the writers did with the show in the big picture. Alot of the shyt in the show will go over the viewers head. In a vacuum, we all bytched and complained about Skyler, Jessie, & Walt Jr. being annoying as fukk though. To me the shows strength was how gripping & intense it could be because of its pacing.

There is some good and some bad to this show just like a lot of shows.I think a lot of how you rate this show comes down to personal preference. Some people at the fact a chemistry teacher became a meth cooker I didn't even find that aspect of the show that interesting. I had no idea this show had the accolades it has, maybe it was different watching week to week instead of marathoning it. Makes my top 10 though.

I understand why the op doesnt like it, but really this thread could be made about any really popular show ever...people make threads and posts like this about Seinfeld, which is universally credited as being the Goat sitcom.....just a mattr of opinion..me personally love the way walt transforms and evolves throughout the course of the show.
