Bunk was good but not on the level of McNulty and Lester. In fact whenever Bunk would hit a wall he'd usually go to one of those two for help.

Once you got past Bunk though the detective were pretty shytty. Even with as much praise as she got Kima never seemed all that good at detective work.

Then at the very bottom you had Herc's dumb ass.

Kima put in work.

And not that it helped put anyone important away, but she also solved the murder that Carcetti used to convince the public that Mayor Royce was soft on witness protection. Truth was the witness got killed from a stray and Kima put the pieces together.

I kinda put Bunny up there as well, dude was able to get all of the drugs and drug addicts off the street and into 3 separate areas of the city. Had his plan not been leaked to everyone it would have been a major bust and tons of people arrested
