Did you pay for the upgrades out of pocket? What did you do to see the appraisal jump so much?
Yea all my upgrades were out of pocket. Va loan, no money down. My mortgage is 786 monthly. I gutted the kitchen, new cabinets, had an island built. Granite. New carpet upstairs, paint, fixtures, tile and Bruce Armstrong laminate flooring downstairs. My father in law did the master and 2nd upstairs bathroom for free. New windows throughout. I've redid the entire house, just got to finish the paint in certain parts of the upstairs and throw baseboards in. About 20k invested. Slept on my momma couch for two years and socked money away. Looks like a different home. All the work i got done after he market crashed, some got it at discounts. 1788 square feet. 3 bed, 2.5 bath. 5660 sq foot lot. Upstairs and down. Since I didn't have to out any money down, I had that cash for things I wanted to do. Just had to come with 3k towards closing.
