Personally I refuse to engage with anyone who can't have a civil discussion or debate like a rational human being.

If you have daddy issues, go and take it up with him instead of wantonly attacking the very type of man you claim doesn't exist.

I have not read the article and I cannot discern Talib Kweli's true intent but based on this post

change the y to an i in shyt.

1. Talib makes a tweet about how spike lee, shaun king aren't our enemies and we need to worry about the real enemy
2. Black lady claims that he doesn't speak for all black people and shaun king and spike lee are black women's enemy because they are misogynistic
3. Talib asks for proof of the claims
4. Multiple people say educate yourself
5. Repeat 3&4

and from reading the tweets littered in this thread, if I understand the context correctly, I would say that Talib has every right to ask for proof and the BW (including the multiple other people) should have presented it since what Talib was asking for was nothing abstract (proof of their misogyny). Correct me if I'm wrong.

This divisiveness is a sickness. If people spent most of their lives on the Internet you would think black men and women are incompatible
That's the crazy shyt to me tho. Im only 25 and I've met alot of people sl while I was in the military and met only one black dude who said they didn't find black women attractive. All the successful black men I know have black wives and vice versa. I can only think of 4 couples that are dating interacially. So it was a shock to see so much anti black men and anti back women.

That has to be the dumbest excuse ever. If I ever heard a black guy say that I would never even talk to the bytch.

There are groups of black women, more or less affiliated. They are NOT about black empowerment as a collective. Their main purpose is simply black female matriarchy. Black men are the enemy. Pure and simple. They are totally into black female victimhood at the hands of principally black men and secondarily men as a collective. They have a huge problem with any strong, straight black male, no matter what good work he does and they use the black men who do dirt as a generality for all black men. They troll online incessantly under various names and accounts. Any action against a black women even if by a white man is turned into a black male problem. For example, one of them said the Oklahoma cop who raped all the black women was emboldened by black men making mysogonist rap music. It goes that far. Just recognize for what it is, is all I'm. ANY sista not talking empowerment for ALL blacks is the enemy.

It honestly breaks my heart to see this. How can black people be arguing amongst each other over who is the most victimised? Both black men and women are subjugated under the same racist system; it might manifest in different ways but still has the same end results.

That whole back and forth was confusing. So some people are just out here accusing people of X, then calling others the same if they ask for proof?
