The conservative ideology is the exact opposite of what the GOP actually practices, outside of social issues. Liberal ideology gets practiced as its theorized, but with no account for human nature. Humans and real life are what keep theories from playing out ideally in reality, libertarianism w/no kind of humility or corrections for human nature will have the same failures in practice.
Better to tackle problems 1 on 1 and use your brain than cling to some useless ideology and get bogged down when you run out of talking points
Libertarians want to remove govt. from civil unions altogether. A far better idea than what is being peddled by democrats IMHO.
The useless ideology you refer to, is a principle.
I hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.
As govt. grows this dominion is reduced.
Moreover, over 90% of the issues we face are connected and/or intertwined, and the 1 by 1 method ends up being just as flawed.
Govt. has done nothing... absolutely nothing to deserve such unwavering support from the AA community. I can only assume you guys are brain washed.
