What is home ownership tho. You own it name only. It’s an asset that you immediately put up for collateral.
The bank that seize it and even if it’s paid off, you still have to pay taxes every year.
This is why a lot of people see real estate as a way to make money, not live in.
Well…the point is they own the properties and rent them out to others so that they can get rich.
Do you want to be one of the renters contributing to someone else’s wealth? Or find a way to own multiple properties as well?
Beyond that, paying a fixed amount every month/not worrying about rent increases, not having to move if the owner decides to sell, building equity that you can potentially leverage, etc
Way more assistance programs available through your lender or other programs if you have financial difficulties as opposed to what is available for renters, etc.
America is about ownership. Period.
