not watching that breh, i already know the answer. i dont even know what i believe in so i dont take it personally, but what i do know is most atheists are a$$holes and thats why ppl dont like em.
Think about everyone you know in general... some of the people you know are atheist.
The reason many people feel atheist are assho1es is because the militant ones and the ones that spend most of their adult life dissing others beliefs, truly are Assho1es.
If you spend time on the internet you will think that most atheists are assho1es due to 80% of of e-atheist being facetious antagonistic fcks. But in reality, most people do not hate atheist and most atheist aren't that way.
The thread is irrelevant because the average religious person isn't hateful and most hateful religious people focus on hating (what they feel is) an opposing religion.

Never met anyone who hated me because I didn't believe in god.Sure I've had heated discussions, confusion as to why I don't believe,and surprise/shock because of how religious my immediate family is. But I never walked away from a conversation thinking someone hated me because of my stance towards religion

Well thats kinda part of it. People "hate" the atheist boogiemen as a group, but will make exceptions for their friends that are atheist, or perhaps not even know their friend is an atheist. Its almost like the whole "I have black friends" and "hes one of the good ones" rhetoric.
