I did dating apps in a different stages of my life only got consistent success with either.
Pics showing off good shape(especially abs)
Pics flossing with brand clothing( most of those clothes were cheap btw, but the brand made the difference)
Also pics in cool places. ( Hotel rooms are a cheat code for pics)
Gotta have a good combo of these if you are not handsome gang. Most man just think they can pop out average and expect matches. That only work for bytches

There's some truth in this tweet. Dating apps broke down the walls of dating. It used to be you would go to certain locations to find women that were golddiggers, different location to find hoes you just wanna fuk, another location to find wifey types.
Now with dating apps you got everyone in the same pool. And that dude that would go to the lounge to look for wifey ends up on dating app and matches with a golddigger or ho.

Of course there's truth to it - it's why I shared it - even if the example isn't necessarily catering to men's sensibilities. The current dating landscape is heavily skewed by the illusion of infinite choice - and that's because of the way people socialize now. Dating expectations are at odds with most people's realities.
Growing up - bad bytches in your neighborhood were bad bytches in your neighborhood - at most/best, they would have been known in the club scene in your city. Whereas now, an attractive woman can accumulate a national - sometimes international - following simply by posting pictures in tight fitting/gym clothes on IG/twitter.
As you said, there are no "barriers". You have random women expecting to be courted by and/or in the same manner the top percentile of earners would court their girlfriends, and you have random men pining after the most attractive women that live on the other side of the globe.
There is this thing called hearing stories from chicks you match with on dating sites and all they have to deal with that comes up in the topic of discussion.

When I was on there heavy I was doing alright. I just got burnt out from the whole script of meeting someone new on there. You get to a point where you see a 100+ matches and I can't talk to everyone or juggle that many folks lol. I just went back to cold approaches and have been loving it. It's keeps people on their toes and they have to truly be themselves in the moment instead of trying to craft the perfect response
