Why Mase come back album wasn't more succesful?

That garbage ass second album killed all his hype. Add in Bad Boy wasn't popular anymore either. And third the music just wasn't strong enough to recapture his lost audience.

If he came out with G Unit it would've been a bigger album

Dude came out all happy and giddy during a time where Murda Ma$e would have been platinum.

Doesn't help the fact that the album was too safe and shyt. Also, heads moved on from Mase like the moment he went down south to church.

The game moved on sadly, he still went gold though which was a plus given where hip hop was at the time.

It was wack. The only good thing that came from it was the Welcome Back rmx with Kanye & John Legend. (Quite possibly the most underrated remix and Kanye beat of all time)

It would be the equivalent of fetty wap trying to come back . It’s like yea you were that guy but the landscape has changed and you were quite too long
