I think we need to take into account their position differences too....mike being a dominant shooting guard all most guarantees him having a higher ppg. average....whereas Bron being in the post has him upping jordan on rpg. and apg.,.......bron's game includes more rebounding and assists out of the post.....mikes game was score first everything else second. Other than the rings (which is major) Bron isn't being eclipsed by much. Two different organizations....two different eras.

THE ARGUMENT CONTINUES...:troll:

He has 2 in a row with the cavs
Keep in mind this year the OP has also claimed Kobe was just as good as a rookie, claimed that James doesn't belong in the same category as magic and Kareem and Shaq because his 2007 Cavaliers got swept, and that Kobe only played fewer minutes and wasn't given the keys to the 1996-97 lakers because Phil Jackson doesn't play rookies. You gotta walk him through any basketball conversation with training wheels.

What people fail to realize is that greatness cannot be 100% quantifiable.

Although stats are crucial, they can't provide context, can't measure intangibles, can't illuminate leadership, and can't capture killer instinct.

Those who've seen both players in their primes understand that Jordan will always trump James.

James will likely retire with better individual stats than Jordan's. But who has more rings? who was the better leader? who was the smarter player? who had that killer instinct and who is still looking for his?

Although I'm not a Bron stan, I respect his greatness and I appreciate what he brings to a team. But people have been making this comparison since before he was even finished with high school. And it's clear he's fallen short of Jordan. Not to diminish Bron's legacy but he should focus on being the best HIM that he can be and stop chasing stats/rings just to try to match Jordan's 6. He needs to understand that even if he can't be MJ, he'll still be a legendary player. Because even if Bron were to get those 6 (or more) rings, it won't compare to how Jordan earned his 6. Jordan won 3 straight and then retired. When he came back, he won another 3 straight. And I can go on and on as to why whatever LeBron does will never be like what Mike did.

jordan never allowed another team to win 70+ games in his league
max amount of times 2 NBA teams would play in a season is 4 so Jordan couldn't have stopped a team getting 70+ even if he wanted. But Jordans league was so watered down (Trash ass Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzilies first showed up in 95-96) that no one came close

Pretty much at this point you'd have to have the perfect NBA career to pass Jordan or the game would have to change incredibly and you'd have to dominate that.

Talking about everybody in the league being 6'8+ with some 7 ft. point guards and you being the best player in the league type of good with a perfect Finals record on top of it.

No one currently in the league has that opportunity imo.

Stats wise he can be, but perception wise? Naw Jordan will always be universally recognized as the goat. Lebron will never have a time where everyone can mostly agree he's the GOAT like they do Jordan. The window is closed for everybody tbh.

Lebron never played with an ensemble anywhere near Jordan's bulls

When Lebron left the cavs they were off the map

When Lebron left the Heat, they went off the map and the cavs went back to the top of the east

Before Lebron Kyrie wasn't doing shyt i

after Lebron, he won't be doing shyt either

he's not a kobe level player either
