Why isn't Kobe's 2004 Finals against the pistons talked about like Bron's dallas series is?

It was literally the OPPOSITE shyt though lol.

LeBron sank in that moment and played like he had never been on a court with top tier professionals before. Kobe literally was out there playing like he thought he was the only player on his team that deserved to shoot or some shyt even though the other team had a great game plan for him and he had a teammate more dominant than him at the time alongside him. It's really not the same thing. And they both received criticism for it, but at least what happened with Kobe is easily explainable and coincides with who he always was a player. LeBron's shyt is still inexplicable to this day and not who he was. LeBron deserved more criticism than Kobe because his shyt was more egregious.

Long story short, Kobe was over aggressive, LeBron was under aggressive. Of course the guy who was under aggressive should receive more criticism when it comes to that situation. :yeshrug:

Once punk ass Scottie did that, I KNEW it was over. Malone wa never injured in his career until that point.

Look man I dont stan or dikkride but that old fat fukk lol fell on his knee in like December or January. The Lakers were like 16-5. Karl Malone's greatest highlight was him mad and sad af on the bench cuz his knee. That was his last year smh

Scott Williams should be banned from every NBA arena PERIOD LOL

Kobe's failures have always been coated in a cum colored layer of fake machismo. They celebrated him still having the courage to take more bad shots when his other bad shots weren't falling. They celebrated him having the confidence and drive to try to do everything on his own even when it was detrimental to winning. Anything he did wrong was forgiven because it could be twisted into an alpha quality.

I remember him shooting like shyt against the heat and he did a post game shoot around for the cameras and suddenly the narrative was that he was more of a competitor than the guys who had just beaten him. His pull with the media is fukking legendary.

FOR THOSE OF US WHO SAW IT IN REAL TIME AND ARENT JUST BOX SCORE WATCHERS, WE KNOW WHAT IT IS... U HAD TO BE THERE

CONSIDERING U WERE 2 WHEN THAT SERIES TOOK PLACE, I DONT BLAME U, SON
Fade aways over double coverage look bad on the stat sheet and in real life. If Kobe's fade away over double coverage isn't falling he's not very effective.

I mean, if he was getting locked up by JJ Barea he'd still be getting roasted.

But yeah, plenty of people talked about it. 15 years ago.

Jason Terry and Shawn Marion didn't exist? They were throwing hella bodies at LeBron. Still no excuse but the narrative is just false and lame

U FAILIN TO ADDRESS THE OTHER ISSUES IN THAT SERIES THO....

-MALONE INJURED LEFT US WIT NO ONE AT THE 4

-PAYTON BEEFING WIT PHIL JACKSON

-SHAQ’S ATROCIOUS DEFENSE, INCLUDING HIS REFUSAL TO GUARD THE PICK N ROLL, WHICH ABSOLUTELY KILLED US

-KOBE’S TRIAL + BEEF WIT SHAQ WAS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH, SO TEAM CHEMISTRY WAS AT 0

THEREIN LIES THE DIFFERENCE ... WHERE HEAT LOST 100% DUE TO LEBRON, THE LAKER LOSS WAS A COLLECTIVE L

If the Lakers would've passed the ball to shaq more they would've won. Shaq is the truth Kobe is a pretender.

People lying in this thread as usual. Kobe already had 3 rings. Bron had zero. Thats it. Winning a ring used to mean you were above criticism. Not anymore tho...

2004. LeBron HAD ZERO. 03-04 was his first season in the league
