Aside from Shaq they averaged about 55 points as a team, but he wants to blame the defense . Rick Fox was the only other lakers player to shoot over 40% from the field and they shot 24.7% from deep as a team. Besides Shaq they shot 34.7% from the field as a team, but it’s their defense that lost the series

I have watched and rewatched that series many times. You should know better.

While Shaq was never known for pick and roll defense, Kobe shot them out of those games. No one talks about the Pistons offense in that series because it was its usual self. They won that series by using Kobe's ego as an extra defender on Shaq. This isn't even a debate.

TO PUT THE BLAME OF THAT SERIES ON ONE PERSON IS LAUGHABLE .. LIKE I SAID, THERE ARE BOOKS DETAILING THAT SHIIT (WHICH IVE READ), AND IT GOES FARRRR BEYOND BAD SHOOTING.
