WHY is/was Edge better overall than Christian?

Christian was given a raw deal when he was out popping Cena..to this day its one of the biggest fukk ups WWE has done and still pisses me off
They were pushing Edge hard since 98.

because he stole Lita from Matt which gave him some nice heel heat. Before that he was going to be out the door along with Christian at the time.

Real talk, Christian leaving for TNA actually ENHANCED his career. Christian would have been Chavo Guerrero status had he stayed to be jobbed out to Cena, then Jericho, then Edge again, then Batista, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, etc.
Christian went on to become champ in TNA and was credible doing so, he came back to the WWE and got to become a 2 time World Champion. That's 3 world titles he never would have gotten if he just played his position as a mid-carder

I wouldn't say Edge was BETTER ...but if there were ever a reason to be found (in MY opinion), it'd be because Christian was just kind of always in the Edge's shadow. It was Edge & Christian...not Christian & Edge.
Edge debuted first and then that whole Edge Vs. Gangrel thing happened with Gangrel introducing Edge's little bro Christian. At that point, it just becomes hard to try to envision Christian as being superior to Edge. Not to mention, Edge had some of the biggest spots in the matches that made them famous as a tag team.
It's kind of how Kane will never quite be looked at as the Undertaker's equal even though Kane puts in consistent work & holds his own. Chavo'll always be compared to Uncle Eddie...
...and then the height & look is a factor, of course. Opportunity knocked and Edge was there. Ultimate opportunist.
