if you're still stuck on michael b. jordan merely being "wallace" from the wire then you are already in a fukked up, stagnant mind state.

michael has proven his acting chops already and has more than earned any role he's given. who gives a fukk if he's black playing a comic book character that's white, as long as he can play the role, that is all that should matter. he's arguably the best actor in this entire movie (between him and underrated toby kebell IMO), so stop hating...if the movie is wack, i can guarantee that he'll be the last reason why.
he is and will always be wallace
know this and stfu

you don't support black people being cast as superheros ?
Dog, stop bein stupid :comeon:

If the hero was a certain race in the comics and the cartoons then thats what he needs to be in the films for authenticity reasons..

I thought makin Idris Elba Heimdall was wack too but whatever..

War Machine was black in the comics and cartoons and he was black in the movie the way it ought to be :stopitslime:

Wallace playin Torch is some wack, sloppy ass, token MTV affirmative action dumb shyt done by stupid white people at Fox who dont understand the characters.

why does that need to be in films when this is simply another interpretation of the franchise?

making human torch black in a movie is no different from making spider-man black in a comic book, if a black actor playing a fictional character that is usually portrayed white breaks your immersion or doesn't come off as "authentic" your probably racist

you might have a point if B. Jordan wasn't a great actor

we are finally getting a cape movie were the only black character(s) aren't bullshyt side character
it's 2015, guys aren't being "cute" or "dumb" they are being progressive and pushing the envelope

they are literally saying "Hey, guys look! we can make a good cape movie that isn't a cac-party"

this is something that should be applauded rather than criticized by guys who are scared of change

It doesn't matter if he's a great actor thats not the point :what:

The character doesn't need to be made black why was that done?

It cheapens the movie and you watch these FF4 movies will flop just like the 1st 2..

shyt is dumb I don't need any misguided white guilt..

Make a movie like Exodus with black people and I will be satisfied..
