In theory, once blood stops flowing, the zombies should lose the ability to use their muscles to do anything fast. Between rigor and the rotting tissue, they're not moving anywhere fast.

Not to mention, we humans are endothermic meaning we regulate our own body temperature independent of the environment we're in. Zombies will lose the ability to stay warm and will freeze in colder climates. You'll be straight unless you live in a warmer climate. shyt, even that heat will cause them to decompose even faster, so you'll be straight either way.

This was originally made 10 years ago around the time when The Walking Dead was really gaining popularity and there were new zombie games/movies/shows coming out all the time.

It's an entertaining way of educating people on what they really need to do to prepare for real life emergency situations. If you want to be a grown adult scared of another boogeyman under your bed feel free but at least recognize the context.

Having said that, I still can’t imagine a virus to spread solely through contact, it would never infect enough people. Humans are too smart and resilient, there’d have to be an airborne component. But those zombies I mentioned, they happened in urban areas so the rage virus could do a lot of damage if it were released in a population center before anyone knew what was happening
