This can't be Die Hard. It's PG-13. Which is unfortunate. I understand that they feel it has a better chance of making more money with a PG-13 rating but the quality won't be there to capture the 80's/90's action flick mold.
All that means, there won't be cussing or horrific violence, if we get anything like Bruce wills on that harrier, I'm down

ITS THE ROCK!!!!!!!
:blessed:

Right lol. shyt ain’t rocket science @Colin X
You push a big budget movie with the biggest movie start on the planet. Regardless of what any of us feel or don’t feel about the rock, he’s the biggest earner in Hollywood so he will get the big promo behind him.

How u think it will perform? I hate to doubt the rock but it looks like a flop to me. Or a modest earner at best.
probably do the same as San Andreas, which i think made like 400-500 million. If it's a fun action movie people might just go see it cause there's nothing else in theaters.

Sounds about right. I think it will make less in the states than San Andreas, maybe 130 tops. It's sandwiched between several movies that will perform good to great.

it's a 100 million dollar movie featuring the rock coming out in the middle of summer.. of course it's getting pushed

even rampage did 400mil+ worldwide

to a movie studio.. the rock is probably the next best thing to having a franchise

not to mention that it's surrounded by franchise movies so they gotta keep the marketing up to avoid getting buried

Dude is so jacked he kinda is limited to these action, badass alpha dog roles :pachaha:

Though he might fukk around and play a gay hitman or some shyt and watch it be a media darling

:russ:

I guess that would be breaking new ground. I just think he has to get away from the safe 2d characters he plays in action movies.

Rock needs a real director that can put together a real movie that just happens to be an action movie.

Arnold had James Cameron for Terminator T2 and True Lies. Bad Boys holds up because of its strong leads,

same with Die Hard. And for as charismatic as The Rock is he still doesn't have an action movie performance that jumps

off the screen IMO. Bobby from Central Intelligence is the closest but not a homerun.
