He not one of these youngins, he in the same space as jay-z but it's easier for him to pump out albums quicker.
The boss is consistent and financially straight. Let us young adults and you old heads who grew up on the boss just enjoy the music. Streaming era anyways, being a fakkit clout chaser gets you spin if you not one of the big 4 (Drake, kendrick, Cole and Ye).

My bad - but rick Ross is not in the same space as Jay Z. Not even close.

Jay started in the late 80s. Ricky what? 2000s?

Both know the deal in finances that's true tho. Bless.

He prolly makin good money outside of rap from his investments so hes not too involved in the music side anymore

I mean I remember watchin his first videos, his whole rap persona was that of a boss, larger than life.. however that CO shyt killed him in the long run

Only reason he didnt fall off the map was cuz he smart and made some solid connections within the industry i.e. jay n diddy

Plus he signed wale and meek mill.... and was featured in many hits

But I feel like he was never a big sellin artist... think he only reached single plat at the height of his career and he never headlined a big venue tour

His caricature like persona is what he will always be remembered for, never was a top seller n even tho he wasnt wack he wasnt dope neither

Good mic presence and voice but basic as fukk skills otherwise
Nothing basic about his skills. He's nicer than just about any major rap artist on the charts right now. fukk are you talking about? :scust:

A 10+ year run for an artist who was never huge in his prime (no plat albums or singles in real time) is impressive. He was always a level below Tip, Ye, Wayne, 50, Jeezy etc.

Ross has had a great career all things considered, and he should continue to eat well off his core fan base for a long time.
