She's actually a school teacher teaching English, but also she works at an orphanage. She said she learned a little of the main language Amharic.
I have to ask her about what she thinks of the Oromo protests. Hopefully I can go there by May.

That's dope. Yeah, I am. I'm actually gonna be out there again in May/June. I've been working on this project called Diaspora Homecoming trying to get african diaspora to travel back to Africa and get jobs/volunteer/develop.
What are her thoughts about Addis Ababa? (Guessing that's where she is if she speaks Amharic) and what about you? What piqued your interest about coming there. This is exciting to me. My whole mission is to get AA and ethiopian americans to travel back and help build the country! #Respect
Not really, considering that most of the stats are about people who actually live in the country, and not those who weave in and out of the country on a regular basis. My point to that poster was that he was seemingly trying to downplay the achievements, mostly academic, of Nigerians abroad by suggesting that they mostly come from rich backgrounds. Even if your statement was true, which I highly doubt, then surely there are more than enough Nigerians from poorer backgrounds to make it a more balance statistic, or are you suggesting that the majority of Nigerians living abroad are rich?
