If we're being honest, I'm kind of shocked that Iron Maiden isn't in the R&R HOF either.

EDIT - Apparently, they've been getting snubbed the last few years. Making it to the second to last ballot two years in a row only to not get selected.

Maiden is fukking huge here in Chile (some of the best concerts I've been to have been theirs), I'm at them not being in it so late in their careers but breh just said Judas Priest wasn't in it until recently so that tells me all about the RnR HOF

All award shows and hall of fames are about gaining clout with the old industry heads that decide who wins. It sucks because they are presented and consumed as the end all be all accolades in music but they rarely get it right because of politics and ineptitude.
