Why is it that when I meet Indian people, they never seem racist?

I see/read the same thing online and in articles, but when im in school i dont really notice it. There's some indian guys (who dont fit the normal stereotype of being a scrub) who smoke, hoop, and are cool with blacks. Running around with names like Rashid/Rahim. This is more so younger guys though, 18-24.
I think the racist tendencies are among the old heads, at least behind closed doors...Think of the old heads who run gas stations, professors, immigrants, with thick accents from English being a second language, etc. It got to a point where i cant stress about it

I always felt the same....in my experience they are amongst the least racist people on a person to person level...
Now as a black person you may have some problems marrying into their family, if that's what you're looking to do...but that's a different issue altogether.

But I would feel wrong if I don't say I disagree. Some even held me down. And we talking from India, Pakistan, Trinidad, Lebanon, Syria, etc...
And the women can even get flirty, but you have to remember its innocent.

Naw breh, I've had some real racist experiences with those people. They're not overtly racist like cacs are, but youd be silly to think they like black people. Get them around some white people and listen to the shyt they say.
I heard an Indian chick (who according to her has lots of black friends) joke about running over a black woman with her car jokingly saying "who cares if they die, its just a black person."

TBH, Indians hate White people to. They're chameleons who will suck up to whoever is outnumbering them at any given time but at the end of the day, they dont fukk with Non Indians period

A lot of Indians, Asians, and Hispanic immigrants (and even the ones born here) practice racism on black people because they believe that showing racism towards blacks will get them a membership card into white society and white supremacy.

It really really really depends on the upbringing and nationality in my experience. I've never met a North American raised Indian that exhibited racism ever, but African Indians are disgustingly racist and elitist (just being real here, that's seemingly the case for the overwhelming majority of non-African "Africans"), and Indian immigrants direct from India are hit or miss (the more educated/well traveled, the cooler they are). Just my experience.
I guess you could say it all comes down to the individual, but that's just my honest experience.

I work in the Technology field so I work around a lot of Indians. They are generally quite decent to me and are much nicer than Chinese, Koreans etc
You can walk by the same Chinese person in the hallway every morning for 4 years and they won't ever say a word or make eye contact with you.

Uneducated Indians will not even look at another Indian from a neighboring state.
Many Indians live in a bubble. For example 40 million speak the language my fam speaks in India. It's considered a classical language. But if you ask 10 Indians on the street if they've ever heard of it, 9 would say no.
So ignorance isn't just directed at people of other races.
