Why is it that when I meet Indian people, they never seem racist?

I know some young Indians and Sri Lankans that are basically on some black power shyt. Then again, have encountered plenty that have the normal uneasy attitude towards blacks. Can't really tell you about the ones aged 25+, but from what I've seen, the Americanized ones are almost never racist.

I hear on the internet that Indians are some of the most racist people.

I believe that they are racist - based on the stuff that happens in India + the caste system... I'm just wondering who the fukk are these non racist indians that sometimes even act funny towards white people , but never act funny towards black and hispanic or asian people.

The indians where i live usually are doctors or in technology. They have apts and huge communities of houses and practice group economics at a level that makes me a little envious as a black man (because my people really haven't mastered this yet-- the white man is my people's daddy here)

It's the exact opposite with me. I find Non Muslim Arabs to be cool but the Muslim ones are the ridiculously racist ones

As far as Indians are concerned, their racism is more pro-their own group than it is anti-other groups. My brother married an Indian girl and her family wont have anything to do with my brother or our family and it's been nearly 10 years. That's just how they roll. I dont have an issue with it

You're in Dearborn. The Chaldeans were the whites that got left behind after white flight....they're resentful. They're allowed to practice group economics because they were once part of the British Crown....Tax breaks, the ability to save up before you get here...you know, things we don't have...as well as a community chest bolstered by money from home...or money going TO home to make it easier for people to stay.
We don't have the same luxuries, nor are we model minorities. Indians are not threatening and somewhat entertaining to whites...At most, annoying. There is no stigma attached and no need to be jealous. I see just as many West African and Horn African doctors as well....They were allowed to develop as a people...and many got the things immigrants get when they come here and don't tell you about. That "rags to riches" or "we grind harder" shyt is a slight ruse because it's heavily aided.

I see/read the same thing online and in articles, but when im in school i dont really notice it. There's some indian guys (who dont fit the normal stereotype of being a scrub) who smoke, hoop, and are cool with blacks. Running around with names like Rashid/Rahim. This is more so younger guys though, 18-24.


I think the racist tendencies are among the old heads, at least behind closed doors...Think of the old heads who run gas stations, professors, immigrants, with thick accents from English being a second language, etc. It got to a point where i cant stress about it

homey that fixes the elevators at my job is a dark skinned indian dude. cool as hell sounds like he grew up here. i saw him yesterday after being out for 2 weeks on sick leave. i thought it was probably his diabetes but dude told me he got jumped TWICE out in long island by the same group of italians for being dark skinned. got a few n words dropped on him and everything. my dude was all fukked up with blood in the eyes and 4 fractured bones. 1 of them in his face .
