Why is it that most Wrestlers work better as a Heel?

True, but Big Bird Cass doesn't know how to cut a convinceable promo and Jinder needs to be written better light than a shytty 1980's foreign heel, what's to point having all this heat if the company doesn't know how to effectively to capitalize off it.

Jinder has been the greatest booking blunder in the last 15 years, shockingly bad how he’s been buried

Big Cass is still green but and improved significantly, he’ll be a play fighting champ sooner than later

Vince McMahon is too stuck behind in his 1980's thinking, that Cena and Hogan shyt urks the hell out of me man. Cena pretty much acts like a damn heel for example; Cena must always have the last word, must win every battle, talks down other wrestlers as if they are gum underneath his sneakers and etc. LOL how does the writers expect people to behind Cena when he's being more of a heel towards the so-called heel. When Cena was feuding with AJ(Heel) most of the fans were Behind AJ due to how Cena has horribly been written. Roman is better off being heel already but he's gonna have to find a way not to get cheered for.
It wouldn’t be an issue if the face was likable and interesting with logical motivations and character development. Batista had basically 100% of the crowd support in his 2005 feud with triple h. Hunter didn’t change at all and was still regarded by many as the top heel in the industry in early 2006 when he faced Cena. The crowd was almost 100% in his corner this time though because you had a face with no personality or depth to him. Corporate champion era rock would get cheered against a lot of faces today since he had so much personality, much like Hollywood rock did. He got booed though because he was beefing with a face who was just as interesting and had plenty of personality of his own though in Steve Austin and Mick Foley. 2009 era CM Punk was speaking nothing but truth about Jeff Hardy and his self destructive behavior, but he got booed because he was a preachy a$$hole about it and Jeff is a guy with a genuine connection with the audience. If Roman were turned heel and given a character that made sense, he’d still get booed against guys like Braun, Samoa Joe, AJ, and Bryan, but that’s not a bad thing if he’s at least interesting. Kurt Angle got booed against almost everyone but that’s ok since he was credible, interesting, had personality, was always entertaining, and acted in a manner that fit both his character and alignment.

I thought Stone Cold changed all that. And maybe ECW entirely.

Go even further back, even the 4 Horsemen (80s biggest heels)had fans.

I was a preteen when Rock got big. He was still a heel but cutting the best promos in the biz. I was like nah.. This dude is cool as fukk and like a year later he was turned face.

"play fighting champ sooner than later" :dead:

So far I haven't seen any improvement at all since Cass arrived back on the scene, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

The culture has changed. Today, peoples' heroes are Minecraft streamers and sassy homosexuals on Twitter. It's hard to translate that to a show about fighting. New Day managed it, but only because Vince thinks they're just doing the dancing black people gimmick.

I was watching a random match between the West Texas Rednecks and the Filthy Animals last night and thought, "This is a wack ass throwaway match on Thunder, but it has more of a big fight feel than anything on Raw in fifteen years.":francis:

Everyone says being a heel is easier, but what heels are actually over as heels consistently today? Is there even ONE? There's definetely guys that always get big babyface reactions no matter where they are (AJ, D BRY, Ambrose, Rollins, Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton)

Kayfabe and Steve Austin.

Austin was the biggest face in the business while being portraying a heel. Kayfabe was also killed around this time.

Now, we cheer our favorite guys despite their heel/face alignment - we appreciate and applaud Pentagon and Ciampa for being excellent heels. This has made it harder for faces because we all know we are meant to cheer them. Can't tell us who to cheer and who to boo any more.

Fans have become the judges and taken pro wrestling to be something it was never intended to be, candid.

What are you guys talking about? Being a face is way easier than being a heel today. You guys have obviously never seen heels try to generate heat in the same ring with John Cena or Roman Reigns. Allow the faces are so hated these days, it's almost impossible to get boos from the crowd unless you're one of them.

Shoot, when you first come to the main roster from NXT, it's like you're a face by default. It's too easy
