Why is it that most Wrestlers work better as a Heel?

Always felt like being a heel is easier than being a face because it doesn't matter what the people think of you as a heel. You have more freedom to just be an a$$hole or atleast you don't have to be a stiff ass face cutting "I never give up" promos. You have to be more convincing on the mic as a face than a heel IMO.

Because being a heel now days is simply a personality injection. They tend to be more bad ass, have better promos and are generally more entertaining. Their material is noticeably more interesting.

Plus, this roster seem to enjoy playing heels more. Faces are some corny muthafukkas honestly. Not many today can do a pure face justice. Most tend to toe the tweener line to get over.

And there's a certain freedom in being an arrogant a$$hole than sticking to corny ass face scripts.

WWE also seems to be more interested in giving heels great segments than their faces imo.

Now, I don't think there are enough dastardly heels who do some fukked up shyt. Heels today are TOO entertainig if you get what i mean.

Also lowkey wrestlers can't get over as babyfaces because commentary today SUCKS! Instead of getting wrestlers over they spend so much time rambling about something else, this is one of the reasons why Jim Ross was great at what he does because he did an excellent job at it during the Attitude Era. Hell even Vince did a decent job of it during the New Generation Era, go back and listen to how he always put over Ahmed Johnson, Undertaker,, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Michael Cole needs to be legit pistol whipped today with how he's bad at his job.

Everyone likes the bad guy, even the ones that boo him. More charisma, creativity and a lot more compelling than faces.

It's like in real life, when you're in an environment where you can be loose at the lips without worrying about being judged your personality comes through in a bigger and better way. When you're confined (such as in a work environment) where you have to censor yourself and be careful not to say the wrong thing most people become more muted and bland.

It's easy to be a face in the real sports though

Being a face isn't that hard you just need real charisma and have to be somebody everyone else wants to be...think Tom Cruise in his mission impossible movies...but the real charisma part is what's tough to pull off with these robotic corny scripts and forced smiling and pandering like Finn Balor...they squandered his natural aura unfortunately

Being an a$$hole is so much easier than being mr. nice guy

Just like super heroes and villains, super heroes have rules they follow... villains don’t have the restrictions :yeshrug:

I’d be a heel easily
