I’m from Croydon. Heart of it. All the people making noise from Croydon- Michael Dapaah, K&K, Stormzy whoever. I say that so you know I’m from ends with a lot of black people.
And again - I’m 29 I’ve spent 8 years in the corporate environment. I’ve met a number of blacks in that space and I know who they marry and breed.
If you have 20 black male friends in the UK and all 20 have black s/o’s - that is not representative of black UK males. At all.
The stats speak for themselves. Something like 40% of all black men marry non-black women.
Of all the (black) people I know married, long term girlfriends or have kids. A significant proportion (more than 40% I reckon maybe higher) are in IR relationships.
Lol, Croydon for most part is in the country and no one from South used to see it as part of South until like 15years ago, when Thorton Heath started making noise. So that’s why i keep telling you lot to speak for you endz and not everywhere else. You’re from Croydon and you can’t even speak for South London because you’re not from the traditional black enclaves in South and you’re no different from someone from Bromley. Your postcode isn’t even a London postcode.
Also, for someone who works in the corporate world - your understanding of maths/statistics is terrible. The 40% is the nationwide stat for Caribbeans (the stat for Africans is less than 20%). And Africans outnumber Caribbeans in the UK. And when you put into consideration that interracial relationship is that common in London compared to other parts of the UK - it drops further.
Evidently the stat doesn’t even back your claim about 12 in 20 black men dating white women. Just say most people that you know are in interracial relationships next time. It’s the UK, no one cares about who you date. Only Americans are fixated on who the next man chooses to lay with.
