why is everyone in The Booth trapped in the early-to-mid 2000s?

The amount of flabbiness in that forum is astounding. :gucci:

I imagine everyone in The Booth to be no younger than 25 years old.

Dude's mentalities are warped by perceptions and anaylsis that would have only been legitimate if it was 2003.

The lack of any discussion and excitement about new, YOUNG, hip-hop. And only talking about if it's ridiculously mainstream.

Everything viewed through the lens of an flabby person. You can feel the :flabbynsick: coming from their keyboard.

The same goddamn recycling threads about:

" Ai yo,I didn't know that Dr. Dre produced E-40's 1991 b-side remix to The Geto Boy's The Other Level :ohhh:"

or "Remember the beef between Camron and Stan Spit"

"Remember when Dipset and G-Unit ran NY?"

"The 2000's was the best era in hip-hop" (:mjlol:)

"I miss wearing baggy pants and xxxxxxl shirts :mjcry:"

Only caring about the same rotation of 15 rappers.... I could go on.

If I wanted to learn about the current musical climate I couldn't go to The Booth.

to answer OP question, b/c rap music sucks now, OVERALL.

It's hardly even rap, it's just mumbling over Fisher Price-level beats.

Sure you got your KEndrick, your Cole, sometimes Drake.....but mostly it's garbage and annoying to attempt to listen to.

I give everything a chance until it annoys me.

Name all these mumble rappers?

People really propping up Cole who had some of the WOAT singing ever on his last album to downplay other artist cause you don't like their delivery

Because today's music is 95% trash and you'll have to live with that. You got cats who were hot a year ago, that are irrelevant now.
Every year since music was heard you had people that only had a 1 year run

This new stuff doesn't qualify as hip hop..it should be called something else, and that's where the conflict is,

How old are you? Jeezy is around my age so unless your in your mid 30s like me he's not from your generation.

I'll name the rappers giving wack shows if you answer the question i originally asked. Who were these rappers rhyming these big ass words?

Exactly....cats don't know what they talkin bout and just deflect to some cornball shyt

I don't know why you cats even parlay with that clown....by his own admission he wasn't around for the 90's. He ain't giving examples because there isn't any to give, and he doesn't know that because he has very little knowledge of rap prior to 2005.

Fred.
