Why is everybody balding so young these days?

I'm going to be 24 in a couple of months and at least 50% of the dudes I remember from High School are balding in some way or another. Has it always been like this? Even now, I look at some of these High School kids and they already have full beards and receding hairlines at like 17 years old. Wtf is going on with our food?
