He's to old now to be taking sides in a parental split. Maybe they aren't close, but i don't there is anymore animosity.@Luke Cage photo ops don’t mean ish.
Does this make sense for him? You inky explained why he could pass, not why it would make sense for him to do so.
There are several examples of successful Black actors with Black families in their movies. So why does it make sense for him to have cac families all the time?
Vin Diesel be doing the same thing. He's playing white Italians all the time eventhough we all know he's black.
Like I said in my previous post. A lot of fathers (some mothers) only start thinking about their kids when they are old and need someone to take care of them. If the Rock isn’t close to his black side, chances are his dad wasn’t the father he should have been nor was the dad close with his own family.
And you can still be married to the mother of your child and be an absentee parent.
Too many parents never learn because a lot of kids forgive them in adulthood for the sake of the grandchildren and wanting to build family connection.
His movies are
I watched it once and it was trash. I never watched the Fast & Furious series and assumed it was part of the series for years.Horrible torrent or Netflix worthy trash. Can't name one movie I liked. People told me they liked faster. Never watched it though
Militant brehs think BM/WW is bad. They gotta realize that a big chunk of white supremacy is WM keeping their women on lock while tryna fukk everyone else's women. Just staying black only doesn't really change anything. Can't play defense only and expect to win
He doesn’t really acknowledge his black side. He’s rarely seen with his pops like he is with his mom. You don’t know anything about his black side outside Rocky Johnson. Meanwhile He gets every Samoan family member a job whether it’s in wrestling or in movies. nikka never been alongside a melaninated women let alone a black women on screen. He dug up washed ass Neve Campbell to play his wife in his latest movie
Makes sense for him.
Most biracial people on TV are black/white (or sometimes black/East Asian). Even being mixed, actors like Shemar Moore, Boris Kodjoe, Tracy Ross etc., "look" black. They can't really pass for anything else.
Rock's got that black/Polynesian mix and most people wouldn't know what he was if they didn't already know his backstory.
Black/white mixes rarely look this ambiguous:
What's funny is that his full Samoan "cousins" love and marry black women.
As Paul Mooney said “Some-mo-nikkas.”
Biracial actors like The Rock are put in a catch 22 position.
If they take “black roles” people get upset that a “real” black actor should’ve gotten the role.
Then if they take white/ambiguous roles, they’re criticised for ignoring their black heritage.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Just let the man live and carry on making awful movies.
