Y'all bytch ass muhfukka aren't hip hop. It's different for us, after I posted my last post, I just saw another disrespectful post. Ignorant shyt, not the jay z song..I am not supposed to be so invested in the opinions of bytch ass nikkas on this bytch ass website...I've mentioned it before, but I'm done. This website isn't for me anymore, it never really was. Life is too real for this nonsense

He is somewhat overrated on The Coli and some other corners of the internet. But extremely underrated in the wider hip hop world. He deserve more overall recognition than he get.

Thing with Mega is he is a great lyricist and his music is authentic and heartfelt. He very skilled at making albums in his lane. It's easy to understand why his hardcore fans love him.

I'm a fan of Mega, just think it's crazy when I see his super stans start saying he better than artists like Nas, Prodigy, AZ and Raekwon. But everyone feel their favorite artist is the best.

Marley Marl said he had zero interest in signing Nas back in the day because he had Tragedy & Mega

Was that because he was playing favorites? or maybe he knew something most of the world didn't

Both these verses from 1991 the styles sound almost just alike
, who sounds more advanced and natural and who sounds like they riding a bike for the first time.....

Mega was known as the best emcee from queensbridge at the time he couldn't have been if he was rappin' like Nas....seems like it was the other way around

You validating what I said about Mega super stans. Where did I say Mega is weak and can't hang with the greats? :dahell:

My point is he got some super stans that overrate him by acting like he obviously better than a bunch of consensus all time greats and think anyone who disagree is a delusional hater. Yall will act like The Realness is accepted as a RTD, Illmatic, Infamous, Cuban Linx level New York classic. And if you personally see it that way, cool. But it's an opinion very few share.

That shyt about Marley and Nas, and Mega being the best rapper in QB before going away, is just a weird thing to bring up. Yeah breh, Marley saw something nobody else did, he was a genius for not signing Nas :comeon:

Mega being the better of the two when he was 20 and Nas was 17 don't mean anything when comparing overall skills and careers.

Hi Tek sampled the music from Fargo and I suspect that got shut down.

I heard the version I posted way back in 2005 or so...when looking for it again on lime wire and Early YouTube I could only find this version and it is grating, nails on chalkboard shyt...my little dabbling in production/beats back then ..there is no need for that extra noise, it doesn't fit the song at all, imo.

In certain circles, it is. And lol, why does that bother you, personally so much?

Mega's an artist. His fans appreciate his work.

I'm not taking notes of names and shyt, I genuinely don't care🙃 I do quote people, but I am definitely speaking in general mostly to everybody...

Y'all are fukking something else...
