Looking back I think this thread is unfair. c00ning amongst older folks - many of whom eschewed white supremacy in their youth - is a huge problem too. It's a fact that an endless amount of of older black people and black people my age (mid 20's) also bought into the post racial myth after the Obama inauguration. Not only that but there are so many self conscious and brilliant 19, 20 year old black people out there (world wide) that just don't deserve to be lumped together with the trash of their generation anymore than I should or anyone else.

This is real. We don't know how to fight anymore... and after hundreds of years of fighting a systematic oppression, who can really blame us? The current generation wants this to be a post-racial society so BADLY that they're willing to ignore, or worse participate in, the oppression of their brothers and sisters.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I fear Diasporan blacks are a lost fukking cause, Black Americans in particular.
We've lost.
Our height was the Black Panther movement. Whites shut that down, reloaded and re-organized from the civil rights movement, and have been running on all cylinders ever since.
Media, news-cycles, education, justice system, finances, art, health...the list goes on and on and on. We are behind in everything.
That shyt with the study where we called ourselves more racist...that's fukking disgusting. Just look at any RANDOM group of socio-economic stats in this country and justify that blacks are the ones holding whites back. It's a fukking joke. Whites will tell you with a straight face that they are the most discriminated group in the country, fukking blacks will sit their and try to play devils advocate "Well, my uncle does talk a lot of shyt"....fukking ridiculous. It's over, the dogs had the fight beat out of him, new Mexican dogs are coming in and they are FEROCIOUS.
Edit : Let me just add, that all of this negativity surrounding the future of our ethnic group needs to be taken in context of the fact that we are currently living in a receding nation...America is a fukking falling empire no matter which way you cut it. This is going to be a Banana Republic, and blacks are looking to be 3rd or 4th class citizens.

i disagree with this. not all blacks are a lost cause. yes, poor blacks are a lost cause. the ones in the ghetto. they're lost causes. the ones who are comfortable living in the projects. they're lost causes. those blacks who don't value education and culture. they're lost causes. the blacks who have poor nutrition, don't read to their children, and think being a "thug" is cool. they're lost causes. those blacks are the lost cause. those blacks are the trash that needs to be thrown away. but there is a growing black middle class, and THAT group is not a lost cause at all.
educated, intelligent, and motivated middle class black people need to unite and begin revamping our society. we need to turn our backs on poor black people and focus on our own success. most poor blacks can't be saved. i'm sorry, but that's just the harsh truth of the matter. it's a waste of time and resources trying to help them. we (middle and upper class black america) need to group together and help ourselves. fukk the rest.
call me a c00n, but i won't allow my children to associate with poor blacks. i believe in black excellence, and i refuse to see their minds infected with the poison that destroyed our ghettos.
