Our generation was no different. The late 80's babies was like the 90's babies, the thing is the real world exposed us and caught us off guard. We wasn't prepared and a lot are just trying to make due. We wanted to believe is a color-blind soicety so bad which was never the case from Day 1. We avoided any stats underminding our race nor was it showed to us. It wasn't till we got older we were exposed to it.

( I take that back, black folks in the 50,60s and mid 70s were on some revolutionary/civil rights/black power movement. So I gotta recognize that.
