Why is bruce lee regarded as the undisputed GOAT martial arts actor when jackie chan exists

Big difference between a martial artist and a martial arts actor. An actor has to go for visual appeal primarily, not effectiveness. That Chinese opera background is like La Masia for FC Barcelona as far as acting is concerned.

People will tell you Bruce Lee could beat up anyone in a fight, including boxing and MMA champions. Not saying I don't respect what he did, but people severely overrate and embellish his talents.

Jackie is like Kane...he can be in Bruce's lane and do it well, but also versatile enough to be in other lanes like comedy action, police drama, fantasy, etc...

Jackie is a singer/dancer with some martial arts skill.

Bruce was a legit practioner of various arts and even created his own style of fighting.

Not sure about Jet Li's background in fighting.

Chuck Norris is probably the best actor/fighter as he was a multi-time world champ in different disciplines. Ex-military (Air Force police officer...not surprised) and could actually fight, which is why Bruce casted him in movies. Don't like his politics but Carlos Ray was/is legit.

Facts Chuck is a triple OG the last of his era...He had serious skin in the game by the time he went into acting...

Jackie is more versatile and just overall better actor as well. He was the first to make martial arts movies less rigid and more fun

Bruce Lee is considered the greatest martial artist of our time when it comes to real fights. Jackie's movie catalogue dwarfs Lee tho by sheer volume.

Who would win in a fight? Idk but I'd bet on Lee.
