Must be how we were conditioned but majority of our other African brothers and sisters are heritage first , African second. Rather that be Dominicans, Eritreans, Jamaicans , Nigerians don't even matter. AAs are the only ones who don't claim our land/ heritage first to differentiate.

It's a little bit of a different situation to be honest. Most foreign blacks are from countries predominantly black and geographically smaller than the area blacks in America live, so when they come here, they let you know a bit about them. So they got to cultivate amongst their people a bit more. There's nothing wrong with that. When I lived in the Virgin Islands, There were Black Americans, that would tell us about the states and their culture and what not. I never took offense to it, was kinda intriguing actually.
I hope this thread becokes more informational/than argumentative.

I'm #BlackFirst but that's a hard, alienating stance to take considering that Black people, especially Black Americans, are more interested in engaging in anti-Black activity and being in the good graces of white people.

Don't get it twisted, there are some Nigerians/Africans on straight up BULLSH!T but it's not as pronounced. Amongst Africans if you're fvcking up in your life they'll let you know and you'll feel alienated as a result. Amongst Black Americans fukkery is tolerated... even celebrated. Sooooo backwards.
