Not really. I'm seeing tons of comments from women, and a couple suspected homosexuals, cosigning her.

Not to mention there's white women calling her article powerful and very much needed

Yeah, I'm looking at what seems to have the most likes on the comment section and the highest ones are disagreeing with her also not surprised to see white folks jumping in to cause more division (even though the author is doing this all by herself) and wanting to give her a pack on the back because that's what the author is looking for the most. She wants a pat on the head and is getting it.

This man's life had nothing to do with the street harassment thing and she is so wrong for trying to connect the two.Her point was lost with this, and if she has valid concerns trying to use this man's death as a platform is just wrong. I could never get behind someone like this. It cuts people off from her issues and perpetuates the stereotypes those against her will use. How is that helpful to the cause? There is no defending it.

Nah doggy. She DOES have a point. She's just misguided. Her approach is "You cant expect me to look out for you when part of your community is harassing me at the same time." And trust me i feel her on that. I could relate to in many ways but that would open a whole can of worms and derail this thread.

BUT

What the brawd fails to understand is that the man was a husband and father so he was not part of the problem. She fails to see his case as an individual and instead just associated him with all the other black men that have harassed her throughout her life
Face it: Some of us do it with white people or any other group we've had beef with.

So let me get this straight, this bytch is trying to equate an innocent black man being murdered with the bullshyt #YouOkSis campaign? According to her, because black men supposedly say nothing about street harassment, she's going to give two fukks about when an unarmed, innocent black man gets murdered by the police?

For the most part I've stayed out of the black feminist threads outside of the occasional trolling, but women who think like this are our enemies and should be absolutely shunned by our communities. I seriously want to see some of these broads on here try to cosign this shyt.

Black males of today have been raised to believe that standing idly by and enabling behavior and hate exhibited in the OP as long as it comes from a woman is an indictment of being an leader. Almost as if she's a big child who has a right to throw a temper tantrum but no one has the right to pop her or tell her to sit down. That's a different thread altogether, though, but it definitely ties into a lack of the bold.
